The Recipe To Success
JB Gill rose to fame as a member of one of the UKs biggest 'boybands' of the 21st century - JLS. After coming second place on the XFactor in 2008, the band went on to reach worldwide success selling 6 million records in the UK alone and more than 10 million records worldwide. For 5 years, JLS dominated the charts and were awarded 5 Mobo Awards and 2 Brit Awards.
JB has now swapped the glamour of the red carpet for the fresh fields of the countryside. Four years ago, JB set up a farm in the Kent countryside, where he lives with his wife, Chloe and two-year-old son, Ace. Their smallholding successfully produces award winning KellyBronze turkeys and free-range Tamworth pork.
JB presents a farming show “Down on the Farm”, for CBeebies, a series created for children aged 4-8 that embraces life outdoors with a real farm focus. Alongside this he has regular spots on Countryfile and will feature on “Battlechef’s” with Marco Pierre White on WATCH in the spring.
In 2016, JB became the first ambassador for the Mayors’ Fund for London, an independent, social mobility charity, linked to the mayoral office, seeking to empower young Londoners from all walks of life in their journey onto London’s career ladder.
JB performed with his wife, Chloe on the ITV Primetime show ‘Dance, Dance, Dance’, for which they won ‘Best Performance’ at the National Reality TV Awards 2017.
JB is an avid sports fan and enjoys taking part in outdoor pursuits. He is also a keen skier and is an advanced PADI scuba-diver. In his spare time, JB likes to relax with his family and play an active role as a member of his local church.
JB speaks from the heart in his keynote talks, telling his inspirational story and providing tips for success in life and business.
